Use→Wash→Reuse→Repeat→Be Happy :)

Hi Everyone,

During dinner last week, I noticed how many paper napkins my family used. On average, each person needed two napkins to satisfy. All these napkins were thrown away and contributed to a major portion of our waste. More waste and more trees cut down = less green and less green BTB. So I decided to take action by going to my local target and buying some reusable cloth napkins. Now, after we use them, I can just pop them in the washing machine and reuse them for the next meal. This cuts down on the waste our family produces and reduces the number of trees cut down for napkins... not to mention the money we will save from not needing to buy napkins so often.

Steps To Veggie

Hi Everyone,

Like I said in the beginning of this blog, one of my goals in BTB is to become vegetarian. It takes a pretty big effort to change from being a meat eater to being vegetarian, so I decided to break the process into a couple of parts. Since it is hard to not eat meat in a meat eating family, I decided that my first step would be to eat veggie when I could make my own food choices, such as at school or when I eat out. This takes away the problem of forcing my family to eat veggie with me. I will try this for two weeks and see how it works out. Wish me luck!

Blu Home

Hey everyone, so a while ago, I was looking at these really cool pre built modular homes called Blu Homes. They are built with an eco friendly state of mind and are delivered directly to your location and assembled on site. Not to mention, they also have a very modern look. Some eco friendly functions they have are listed here http://www.bluhomes.com/green/. These homes are so cool! I want to have one. Check the site out.

First Sprout !!!

I woke up in the morning and found a little green shoot sticking out of the soil. It was my first sprout! finally after four days of waiting, success! I hope it keeps on growing and that the other seeds follow. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
